standing outside the office (this is right outside the elevator area) today waiting for the car, I saw this little puppy get almost run over by our driver today.
I called him to stop and beckoned the puppy (her/him?) to me. she galloped over wagging her tail and wiggling with excitement as I pet her and scratched her back.
then she was off to investigate the trash for food again....
